I study Mechanical Engineering at Federal University of Akure. Before I entered university, I did not have passion for design (Graphic Designing, UI/UX Designing) at all. I had thought I will use my certificate to get a job or just be one entrepreneur like that with no goal in mind. Not to prolong the story, I started having passion for graphic designing at the end of my 100lv. I got a new laptop and went to learn about CorelDraw as I was new to all this graphics stuffs. After learning CorelDraw for some time, I started helping my friends with their logo designs and I was happy doing it. Some fetched me money, some didn't. I later moved to using Adobe Illustrator for my design work but then I majored on Logo designing since that what I do best.

During the movement, I started taking online courses, YouTube tutorials, Blog post on Logo Designing, Designing as a whole and what’s being a Graphic Designer entails. I made lots of mistakes during the process but I got better at the Design Fundamentals and Principles. It was through the courses I got to know about another aspect of design which is User Interface And User Experience Design. “UX and UI design are two different elements of a single consumer experience. UX refers to the user experience, which focuses on how something works and how people interact with it. UI, or user interface, focuses on the look and layout.” This interests me a lot and also my friends were into developing websites then I started it. I joined a Developer workshop group in my school, got to know people and more about the software usage. I started with FIGMA and I have gotten used so used to it that other software doesn’t measure up to it. Then, the unexpected break came along. I did not want to stay Idle at home, I applied for HNG Internship recommended by a friend. It started well but as it advances it got a lot tougher so I got ejected. It was from there I heard about Wejapa Internship (the current internship I am in right now).

So now, Another journey is about to start.
